Geog1 : Physical & Human Geography ( 2hrs   35% of full A level)

Physical Geography Core Unit : Rivers, floods & management                 Option Unit : Coastal Environments

Human Geography Core Unit : Population change                                       Option Unit : Energy Issues

Geog2 : Geographical Skills   (1 hr   15% of full A level)

Skills and field work questions.

At the end of Year 13 there are 2 exam papers:

Geog3 : Contemporary Geographical Issues  (2.5 hrs  30% of full A level)

Physical Units : Plate Tectonics and Hazards     /   Atmosphere - Change and challenge

Human Units :  World Cities   /   Contemporary Conflicts and Challenges

Geog4A : Geography Fieldwork Investigation   (1.5 hrs   20% of full A level)

Short and extended questions on the student's Fieldwork Investigation
