KS4

The Geography Specification (Syllabus) at GCSE is:
AQA Specification C
There are 2 exam papers at the end of Year 11:
  • A Decision-making paper requiring students to be able to use O.S. maps to come to decisions
  • A ‘Content' paper covering the topics studied during the 2 years.
These will give 75% of the final mark. The other 25% comes from the FIELDWORK study-or Coursework. This follows the fieldtrip to Beverley and students write up their study of ‘Should a New Sports Shop set up in Beverley?'
