Photo Competition
A competition was held by the Geography Department in the autumn term of 2007 to see which students and staff could capture the best representations of the local area through photography. The entries could be of the human or physical landscape and the intention is to get enlargements of some of the best to display along the corridors throughout the school, like the dramatic one below by Lauren Lockwood of the North Sea colliding with the Holderness cliffs!

With a large number of entries it was a difficult job for the judges (headed by Ms Harris) to select the winning photographs. However after long consideration the awards went to the following people:
Year 7
Jack Siddle
and Sophie Peyman

Year 8
Malcolm Cassidy
Year 9
Rob Greaves
Staff
Mrs Dearing

Overall Winner
Rob Greaves
